Introduction

AML Compliance in Banking Training Course is designed to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of banking professionals in combating money laundering (AML), terrorist financing (CTF), financial crime prevention, and regulatory compliance. As financial institutions face increasingly sophisticated criminal networks, digital payment innovations, cryptocurrency transactions, sanctions violations, and evolving global regulations, banks must establish resilient compliance frameworks that align with international standards such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) recommendations, Basel guidelines, and local regulatory requirements. This training equips participants with the expertise to implement risk-based AML programs, conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), perform Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, identify Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), monitor suspicious transactions, manage sanctions screening, and ensure timely regulatory reporting.

The course combines global best practices with practical banking scenarios to enable participants to detect emerging financial crime risks, strengthen internal controls, and build a culture of compliance across their institutions. Through interactive workshops, real-world case studies, risk assessments, and technology-driven compliance solutions, participants will gain practical experience in AML investigations, transaction monitoring, AI-powered compliance, financial intelligence, fraud detection, digital banking compliance, virtual asset risk management, regulatory reporting, and enterprise risk management. Upon completion, participants will be well prepared to protect their organizations from regulatory penalties, reputational damage, operational risks, and financial crime while enhancing corporate governance and sustainable banking practices.
