Introduction

Blockchain technology is transforming how development programs ensure transparency, accountability, traceability, and trust across the project lifecycle. In Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), blockchain enables tamper-proof data collection, real-time verification, immutable audit trails, and decentralized reporting, reducing fraud, manipulation, and data credibility risks. This course introduces participants to practical blockchain applications for transparent M&E systems, bridging technology with results-based management.

Blockchain for M&E Transparency Training Course is Designed for development practitioners, evaluators, donors, and policymakers, this course demystifies blockchain concepts and demonstrates how distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) can enhance data integrity, beneficiary verification, fund tracking, and performance reporting. Participants will explore real-world case studies, hands-on frameworks, and governance models to integrate blockchain responsibly into M&E ecosystems.
