Introduction

Climate change is one of the most pressing global challenges of the 21st century, impacting environmental sustainability, public health, and demographic trends. Understanding the intersection between climate variability and fertility decisions is essential for policymakers, researchers, and development practitioners aiming to promote sustainable population strategies. Climate Change and Fertility Decisions Training Course provides an in-depth exploration of how climatic factors, such as temperature fluctuations, natural disasters, and long-term environmental changes, influence fertility behavior and reproductive health outcomes. Participants will gain practical knowledge, analytical tools, and policy frameworks that bridge climate science with demographic research.

This training emphasizes evidence-based decision-making, integrating global case studies, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques to evaluate the influence of climate on fertility patterns. Participants will engage with interactive learning, including scenario planning, policy simulations, and data analysis exercises, to understand the social, economic, and environmental implications of climate-driven fertility decisions. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to develop interventions that address climate impacts on reproductive health, contribute to national population strategies, and strengthen organizational resilience in demographic planning.
