Introduction

In today’s global mining landscape, organizations are under increasing pressure to demonstrate environmental stewardship, social accountability, and governance transparency (ESG) while maintaining operational profitability. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Mining Training Course addresses the critical intersection between mining operations and community development, focusing on responsible mining frameworks aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate resilience, biodiversity protection, and human rights compliance.

Participants will gain practical insights into modern CSR strategies including impact assessment, community development agreements, environmental rehabilitation, carbon reduction strategies, and ethical supply chain management. The program integrates real-world mining case studies, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder collaboration models to ensure participants can design and implement effective CSR initiatives in both surface and underground mining environments. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to lead sustainable transformation in mining operations, ensuring long-term value creation for companies, communities, and ecosystems.
