Introduction

Drill and Blast Optimization is a critical competency in modern mining and civil excavation operations, focusing on fragmentation control, explosive efficiency, cost reduction, vibration management, and safety compliance. Drill and Blast Optimization Training Course is designed to equip participants with advanced knowledge of blast design engineering, drilling accuracy, explosive selection, rock mass characterization, and digital blast modelling techniques to achieve optimal operational performance. With increasing industry pressure on productivity, sustainability, ESG compliance, and operational efficiency, optimized drill and blast practices are essential for competitive mining and infrastructure projects.

This comprehensive program integrates real-world case studies, simulation-based learning, and advanced blast analytics to improve decision-making in field operations. Participants will learn how to reduce overbreak, flyrock risks, powder factor variability, and environmental impact while improving ore recovery, fragmentation consistency, and downstream crushing efficiency. The course bridges the gap between theoretical blasting principles and practical site execution using modern tools such as GPS drilling systems, electronic detonators, and blast performance monitoring technologies.
