Education for Sustainable Development in Refugee Camps Training Course

Introduction

Education is a fundamental human right and a critical driver for sustainable development, particularly in refugee camps where access to quality learning is often limited. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) empowers learners with the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes necessary to address environmental, social, and economic challenges in displaced communities. By integrating sustainable development principles into teaching and learning practices, refugee camps can foster resilience, promote social cohesion, and enhance opportunities for lifelong learning.

Education for Sustainable Development in Refugee Camps Training Course is designed to equip educators, humanitarian workers, and policymakers with the tools to implement effective ESD programs in refugee camps. Participants will explore practical strategies for integrating sustainability into education, learn to design inclusive curricula, and develop methods to engage diverse learners in complex contexts. The course emphasizes real-world applications, innovative teaching methods, and actionable outcomes that contribute to sustainable community development within refugee settings.
