Introduction

Ethics in global health has become a critical cornerstone of modern healthcare systems, especially in an era shaped by pandemics, digital health transformation, health equity gaps, climate change impacts, and cross-border medical collaboration. Ethics in Global Health Training Course provides a comprehensive framework for understanding bioethics, global health governance, human rights in healthcare, and equitable access to medical resources. It is designed to equip learners with the competencies needed to navigate complex ethical dilemmas in international health policy, humanitarian emergencies, clinical research, and global disease control systems.

In today’s interconnected world, challenges such as vaccine equity, data privacy in digital health, AI-driven healthcare decision-making, migrant health rights, and ethical clinical trials in low-resource settings demand highly skilled professionals with strong ethical reasoning. This course integrates real-world case studies, global policy frameworks (WHO guidelines, SDGs, and international health regulations), and practical ethical decision-making models to prepare participants for leadership roles in global health systems. It emphasizes responsible innovation, cultural sensitivity, and justice-centered healthcare delivery.
