Microfinance & Financial Inclusion

Financial Inclusion via Telemedicine Payment Models Training Course

Introduction

Telemedicine has become one of the most transformative innovations in modern healthcare delivery, expanding access to medical services for underserved and remote populations. As digital health services grow, the need for inclusive and affordable payment models becomes increasingly critical, especially for low-income clients who struggle to access traditional healthcare financing mechanisms. Financial inclusion through telemedicine payment systems enables individuals to pay for virtual medical consultations, diagnostics, and health services using digital financial tools. Microfinance institutions (MFIs), digital financial service (DFS) providers, and health-focused organizations are now exploring ways to integrate inclusive payment models to support the expansion of telemedicine. Financial Inclusion via Telemedicine Payment Models Training Course provides a comprehensive overview of telemedicine payment systems, financial inclusion strategies, and scalable digital health financing models.

Participants will learn how to design and implement payment structures that increase access to digital health services while ensuring affordability and sustainability. The course explores mobile payments, micro-insurance, subscription models, credit-for-health, and pay-as-you-go systems tailored to telemedicine clients. Learners will also gain understanding of regulatory frameworks, partnerships between MFIs and healthcare providers, and digital risk management strategies. Through case studies and practical exercises, participants will gain the skills needed to evaluate, deploy, and monitor digital health payment solutions. By the end of the training, participants will be equipped to develop inclusive, innovative, and impactful telemedicine financing strategies for their institutions.
