Introduction

The modern global economy is currently navigating a landscape of "divergent forces," where resilient growth is offset by shifting trade policies, high inflation, and the disruptive potential of Artificial Intelligence. Financial sustainability is no longer merely about bookkeeping; it is a strategic imperative requiring unions to transition from reactive budgeting to proactive, diversified revenue generation and digital-first financial governance.

Financial Sustainability for Labour Movements Training Course empowers labour leaders to build robust institutional resilience by integrating ESG frameworks with traditional collective bargaining strengths. Participants will explore innovative "institutional innovations" such as social enterprise models, public-private-labour partnerships, and algorithmic financial auditing to ensure their movements remain solvent and influential. By mastering the nexus of macro-financial stability and micro-level transparency, labour organizations can protect member assets and expand their socio-economic impact in an increasingly uncertain 2026 fiscal environment.
