Introduction

Gender and Child Health is a critical interdisciplinary field that integrates gender equity, maternal and child health (MCH), public health systems, and social determinants of health to improve outcomes for vulnerable populations. Globally, gender disparities significantly influence access to healthcare, nutrition, immunization, and early childhood development, making it essential for practitioners to adopt gender-responsive, inclusive, and data-driven health interventions. Gender and Child Health Training Course equips participants with cutting-edge knowledge, policy frameworks, and practical tools to address gender-based inequities affecting child health outcomes.

In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and health equity requires integrating gender-transformative approaches into child health programs. This training emphasizes evidence-based strategies, digital health innovations, community engagement, and intersectionality, enabling participants to design and implement impactful programs that improve child survival, growth, and well-being while addressing systemic gender barriers.
