Introduction

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) plays a pivotal role in equipping learners with practical skills that drive economic growth, innovation, and sustainable development. However, gender disparities persist in TVET institutions, often limiting access, participation, and career advancement for women and marginalized groups. Gender in Technical and Vocational Education Training Course is designed to address these gaps by promoting gender equity, inclusive learning environments, and transformative pedagogical strategies. Participants will gain the knowledge and tools to identify systemic barriers, implement gender-responsive practices, and foster equal opportunities in technical skills development.

The course integrates interactive learning methodologies, including case studies, group discussions, role-plays, and action-oriented projects to ensure participants can translate theory into practice. By emphasizing gender-sensitive curriculum design, policy advocacy, and monitoring frameworks, this training prepares educators, policymakers, and development practitioners to lead initiatives that enhance female participation, diversify the workforce, and create inclusive technical education ecosystems. Ultimately, it empowers stakeholders to champion equity, innovation, and socio-economic empowerment in TVET institutions.
