Introduction

Urban mobility and transport systems profoundly shape the lives of all citizens, yet conventional transport planning often overlooks the distinct safety needs and experiences of different genders. Gender-responsive transport safety planning ensures that cities and communities design inclusive, secure, and equitable mobility solutions. By integrating gender perspectives into transport policies, infrastructure, and safety measures, stakeholders can enhance access, reduce risks, and foster social inclusion.

Gender-Responsive Transport Safety Planning Training Course empowers participants with practical tools, frameworks, and global best practices to mainstream gender considerations into transport safety planning. Through interactive case studies, data-driven approaches, and participatory planning techniques, attendees will develop strategies to create safer, more inclusive transport networks. Emphasis is placed on actionable solutions, policy integration, and sustainable urban mobility practices.
