Introduction

Labour migration has emerged as a pivotal aspect of global economic development, shaping workforce dynamics and influencing social protection systems across nations. Migrant workers face unique vulnerabilities, including limited access to healthcare, social security, and labor rights. Labour Migration and Social Protection Training Course provides participants with the tools to analyze labor migration patterns, identify gaps in social protection, and implement best practices that safeguard migrant rights while enhancing economic resilience.

As globalization accelerates, social protection mechanisms must adapt to ensure migrant workers are not excluded from benefits, insurance schemes, or employment rights. This training emphasizes evidence-based approaches, cross-border policy analysis, and case studies from diverse regions to illustrate practical solutions. Participants will explore labor migration trends, regulatory frameworks, international conventions, and innovative protection schemes, equipping them with actionable strategies to address the challenges faced by migrant populations. By integrating theory with applied learning, the course aims to foster informed advocacy, effective policymaking, and strategic interventions in labor migration governance.
