Introduction

Maritime security has become a strategic priority for nations seeking to safeguard territorial waters, protect commercial shipping routes, and counter emerging maritime threats in an increasingly contested global environment. As geopolitical tensions rise across major maritime chokepoints and naval forces expand their operational reach, effective maritime domain awareness, naval readiness, deterrence strategies, and coastal defense capabilities are now central components of national security planning. Maritime Security and Naval Power Projection Training Course equips participants with advanced knowledge of naval operations, sea control, maritime interdiction, joint operations, and regional maritime governance frameworks that shape contemporary security dynamics.

Participants will explore the strategic applications of naval power projection, including forward presence, deterrence patrols, expeditionary operations, and integrated maritime-defense systems. Through scenario-based exercises, naval case studies, and real-world threat assessments, the course strengthens the capacity of defense professionals to analyze maritime risk, design robust operational frameworks, and support national maritime strategies. By the end of the program, participants will possess strong competencies in maritime security strategy, naval operations planning, and multi-agency coordination across complex maritime environments.
