Public Financial Management & Budgeting

Performance-Based Budgeting in Linking Resources to Results Training Course

Introduction

Performance-Based Budgeting (PBB) is a strategic financial management approach that aligns funding decisions with measurable outcomes, enabling governments, organizations, and institutions to optimize resource allocation and maximize impact. In today’s results-driven economy, leaders and managers are increasingly required to demonstrate the efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability of their budgets. Performance-Based Budgeting in Linking Resources to Results Training Course equips participants with the knowledge, tools, and techniques to implement PBB frameworks, analyze performance indicators, and ensure resources are directly tied to organizational priorities.

By integrating performance measurement, financial planning, and strategic resource allocation, Performance-Based Budgeting transforms budgeting from a simple expenditure tracking process into a dynamic, results-focused management system. This training blends global best practices, practical case studies, and hands-on exercises to empower decision-makers to design, implement, and sustain PBB models that enhance transparency, efficiency, and stakeholder trust.
