Introduction

Strategic arms control and non-proliferation have become core elements of global security, shaping diplomatic negotiations, military doctrine, and international stability. As geopolitical tensions rise and advanced weapons systems proliferate, the need for strong arms control frameworks, compliance verification mechanisms and effective monitoring has never been more essential. Strategic Arms Control and Non-Proliferation Training Course equips participants with deep knowledge of treaty structures, technological verification tools, global non-proliferation regimes, and strategic security dynamics that influence arms control negotiations. The content integrates analytical insights, defence policy considerations and strategic forecasting to strengthen decision-making in high-level security environments.

Participants will develop the skills needed to analyze emerging threats, evaluate strategic trade-offs and support national or organizational efforts to reduce weapons risks. Through scenario-based learning, treaty simulations and real-case evaluations, the training enhances the capacity of security professionals to navigate complex nuclear, chemical and biological weapons issues. Practical case studies ensure learners apply theoretical knowledge to contemporary global challenges, improving their capability to support sustainable peace, regional stability and responsible deterrence.
