Training Course on Climate Change and Infectious Disease Emergence

Training Course on Climate Change and Infectious Disease Emergence is designed for health professionals, researchers, and policymakers seeking to understand the complex relationship between climate change and the emergence of infectious diseases. This course explores how environmental changes, including temperature fluctuations, altered rainfall patterns, and extreme weather events, contribute to the spread and evolution of infectious agents. Participants will learn to develop strategies for surveillance, prevention, and response to infectious diseases influenced by climate change.

As the impacts of climate change become increasingly evident, understanding its implications for public health is critical. This course equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess climate-related health risks and implement effective interventions. Through interactive workshops, case studies, and practical exercises, attendees will gain hands-on experience in addressing the challenges posed by climate change on infectious disease dynamics.
