Training Course on Gender and Education
Training Course on Gender and Education aims to empower participants with the essential knowledge and skills to understand and address the persistent gender disparities in education. Education is a fundamental human right and a critical pathway to personal and societal development. However, gender continues to play a significant role in influencing access to education, learning outcomes, and the overall educational environment.
This course recognizes that both boys and girls can face barriers to education based on their gender, and it emphasizes the need for targeted strategies to ensure equitable access for all. Participants will engage in a comprehensive exploration of how gender dynamics affect educational policies and practices and will learn to develop gender-responsive strategies that promote inclusivity. Through interactive workshops, case studies, and practical exercises, participants will analyze educational policies through a gender lens, advocating for inclusive practices that foster gender equality in educational settings. By the end of this program, participants will be equipped to lead initiatives that bridge gender gaps in education and create supportive learning environments for all students.
