Introduction

Pollination is a cornerstone of agricultural productivity and biodiversity, directly impacting crop yields and food security. Training Course on Pollination Management for Crop Productivity is designed to equip agricultural professionals, farmers, agribusiness stakeholders, and researchers with practical, science-based knowledge on pollination strategies. By leveraging sustainable pollination techniques, this course aims to improve fruit set, enhance crop quality, and foster ecosystem resilience in diverse agricultural environments. The course highlights the economic and ecological value of pollinators such as honeybees, wild bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects, emphasizing integrated approaches to pollinator health and habitat conservation.

With increasing threats from climate change, habitat loss, and pesticide use, effective pollination management is now a critical priority for modern agriculture. This comprehensive course introduces participants to pollinator-friendly farming practices, innovative pollination technologies, and crop-specific pollination strategies. It promotes climate-smart agriculture, ecosystem-based adaptation, and regenerative agriculture techniques to enhance pollination services. The course integrates practical tools, real-life case studies, and hands-on strategies to improve productivity, sustainability, and resilience of crops through effective pollination management.
