Introduction

Youth employment and labour protection have become central pillars of sustainable economic growth, social justice, and inclusive development in today’s rapidly changing global labour market. With rising youth unemployment, expansion of the gig economy, digital transformation, and increasing informal labour systems, there is an urgent need to equip young people with knowledge of decent work standards, labour rights, occupational safety, and employment readiness skills. Youth Employment and Labour Protection Training Course is designed to bridge the gap between labour market demand and youth employability by strengthening awareness of labour laws, workplace protection mechanisms, ethical employment practices, and future-of-work competencies.

The course integrates global best practices from the International Labour Organization (ILO) frameworks, youth empowerment strategies, and modern workforce trends such as remote work, freelancing, green jobs, and digital labour platforms. It empowers participants to understand employment contracts, workplace safety, social protection systems, and dispute resolution mechanisms while building practical skills for career development. By combining theoretical knowledge with real-world case studies, the program ensures youth are prepared for safe, fair, and productive participation in the labour market.
