Introduction

Land Use Planning in Mining is a critical discipline that ensures sustainable, compliant, and efficient utilization of land resources in mining operations. This training course is designed to equip professionals with advanced competencies in mining spatial planning, environmental impact mitigation, geospatial analysis, regulatory compliance, and sustainable resource management. With the growing global focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), sustainable mining practices, climate-smart mining, and responsible land rehabilitation, effective land use planning has become a strategic priority for mining companies, governments, and environmental agencies.

Land Use Planning in Mining Training Course provides a comprehensive understanding of how to integrate GIS in mining planning, land reclamation strategies, mine closure planning, environmental risk assessment, and smart mining technologies into operational decision-making. Participants will develop practical skills to balance economic extraction goals with environmental sustainability and community development needs, aligning with modern green mining standards, carbon-neutral mining initiatives, and sustainable development goals (SDGs
